Custom Kitchen Countertops

It’s very likely that somewhere in your kitchen there is a kitchen countertop. Some would say the stove or other cooking appliances are where the kitchen magic happens, but without that countertop you wouldn’t be able to prep your delicious food. But your countertop is not just a means to an end, it is one of the pivotal parts that create your kitchen’s aesthetic.

We create custom kitchen countertops to either fit with your current aesthetic or to begin a new one. We carry multiple diverse types of stones to make your countertop, such as granite, quartz, marble, and more. Each stone has different benefits as well as distinctive designs, textures and colors. Together with your dream countertop and our craftsmanship, we can make your ideal countertop reality.

How to Clean Your Kitchen Countertops

The most asked question from our customers is how they can take care of their countertop and how to clean it properly. Of course you’re going to want to keep that shimmer and shine of your new countertops, so here are some general types you can use for any material countertop.

  1. Stick with a non-abrasive soap that won’t do more damage than good. You don’t always need a stone-specific cleaner from the store. Usually a little bit of soap and warm water will do the job.
  2. Some countertops may need to be sealed and resealed during its lifetime to help defend against nicks and scratches (i.e. Marble and granite countertops).
  3. You may also need to buff out some scratches from other countertops with either a soft towel or sandpaper depending on the stone.

How to Choose the Right Kitchen Countertop

There are a few factors that go into making this decision. You’ll want to consider maintenance on the countertop as you use it. Will it scratch or stain? Each stone has their own benefit, such as soapstone is heat resistant and quartz is more resilient to stains. On top of the maintenance and benefits, you also have the aesthetic look of the stone. Granite is unique in that you will not find another slab of granite that looks the same. Each type of stone has their own distinctive colors and veining textures that go through the entire stone. Come visit us to see our collection of slabs for you to choose from.
