How long does the process take? From template process to installation it is normally less than 5 business days depending on our schedule.  On the day of installation we install your countertops in a few hours with scheduled appointments in the morning or afternoon.

What do I need to do to get started? Fax us the measurements of your countertop dimensions for an estimate and visit our showroom to take a look at our selection.  Once you have decided on the type of stone that you like we can give you a price.

Do I need to remove my old countertops prior to template? No we will template over top of your existing countertop.

What do I need to do before you come to template? Clear your countertops off of any existing objects so that the countertop is empty.

How do my existing countertops get removed before installation? Ancient Art Stone can remove them for you before installation.

Do I get to choose my actual slab of granite that will be used? Yes we have over 500 large slabs of granite for you to choose from, so you will be able to choose the exact piece we will use for your countertop and choose the placement of the template on the stone.

What do the free sinks look like? Visit our showroom and our an Ancient Art Stone representative can show you the selection

Is there any warranty associated wit the countertops? Yes there is a 15 year stain warranty option available

Do I have to re-seal my new granite countertops periodically? We recommend resealing your countertops once a year for optimal look

How do I clean my new countertop? We supply a bottle of countertop cleaner for you on the day of installation and will review with you proper care of your new top.

If my kitchen is currently being remodeled how can I give you the measurements? The kitchen layout or blueprint can be used for an estimate, please bring to the showroom with you when you come to visit

If I am using a building contractor for my remodeling project does the contractor need to be involved in the process? Yes it is best to include your contractor in the process to ensure a smooth process, including the scheduling.  He does not have to be included in the quoting or selection unless you would like him to.

Do you offer other stones other than granite? In addition to granite we also offer marble and quartz products for your countertop selection.  We also have a large selection of tile, hardwood flooring, and outdoor pavers available at our Milford showroom.
